Cancelling a paid plan

Direct sign-ups cancel from the billing portal on the Account page. It takes two clicks, with no email and no phone call. The plan runs to the end of the period already paid for, the service keeps working until then, and it does not renew. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a billing month as standard.

Merchants who installed through the Shopify App Store are billed by Shopify. Change or cancel the plan in the Shopify admin. Refunds on those charges follow Shopify's billing.

Cancelling does not close your account. It moves to the Free plan: your feeds, rules and history stay exactly where they are. If your catalogue fits inside the Free plan's limits, daily runs, fixes, the digest email and your delivery URLs all keep working with nothing to reconfigure. If it is bigger than the Free plan covers, your data stays put and your delivery URLs keep serving the last compiled file at the same addresses with no shutdown date. Audits continue within Free limits; after a short notice period, new fixes stop going out until you upgrade or bring the catalogue back inside Free. Reactivating switches fresh compiles back on with nothing to rebuild.

SKU packs

On a direct subscription, adding or removing +25,000-SKU packs takes effect immediately. Stripe adjusts the charge on the next invoice to reflect when the change was made. App Store installs do not add these packs in SKULayer.

Billing errors

If a direct subscription was charged incorrectly, charged twice, or charged after a cancellation made in time, email hello@skulayer.com. We will refund the difference in full. Billing mistakes on a Stripe subscription are ours to put right. Refunds for a Shopify invoice follow Shopify's billing.

Something gone wrong?

If the service has materially failed you, email us with what happened. We will look at it case by case. We decide then whether to refund a direct subscription. Refunds for an App Store install follow Shopify's billing. SKULayer is a service for businesses. This policy does not affect any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
